so gentle you can’t feel its weight on your hand but strong enough to take flight

so persevering that its light spans generations

that colors the sky with promises of the light to come tomorrow 

I want a love that is steadfast like the sun and as unconditional as the moon 

I want a love as brave as Spring when what was lost grows once again
